Junior IT FrontEnd Developer 

The Position:     
Reporting to the SO IT Web & Ε-Commerce Administrator you are responsible and accountable to:  
•To create new and update existing pages for all standard and mobile websites (GR/CY/BG), as required 
•To implement new technologies that will enhance website performance and user experience 
•Contribute to the development and maintenance of front‑end applications (web and responsive interfaces)
•Implement UX/UI designs in line with approved design guidelines
•Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards
•Document basic features and code changes
•Support existing applications and gradually take ownership of new features
•Support online campaigns, special offers, and mobile/app-related projects
•Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and other departments
•Basic knowledge of Google Ads, GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO

Qualifications:
•University Degree (obtained or near completion) with a technical-scientific specialization with a preference for Computer Science and Information Technology
•Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
•Familiarity with at least one front‑end framework (e.g. React, Angular, or Vue)
•Understanding of responsive design principles and cross‑browser compatibility
•Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Sitecore, similar or custom CMSs) 
•Understanding of content structure, templates, and publishing workflows in a CMS environment
•Basic experience with Git and version control
•Willingness to learn, good organizational skills, and a team‑oriented mindset
•Ability to understand and follow technical requirements and instructions
•Good communication and interpersonal skills
•Achievement drive, initiative taking and problem solving skills
•Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines

Qualifications considered as an asset:
•1 year experience in similar position
