.NET Developer

The Position:

Reporting to the Group IT Director, you will be responsible and accountable for:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Framework / .NET Core
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications and services on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Storage, CI/CD pipelines)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to architectural design discussions
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and promote best practices in software engineering

Qualifications & Competencies required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET development
• Proven experience in developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure
• Strong knowledge of SQL (SQL Server or Azure SQL)
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, microservices and event driven architecture
• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps etc)

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate)
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks (Angular, React) will be considered a plus
